INDUSTRY STANDARDS ASSESSMENT

The Global Institute and ChiLab have partnered to present a groundbreaking Certificate Program in Relationship Orientation for participants in the logistics industry.

THREE MONTH CONTACT Class_GIL T&D.jpg

Each participant has a three-month contact with ChiLab Lmited educators - presenters, tutors and back-up staff - during which they have a unique opportunity to greatly enhance their knowledge of and skills in all elements of Relationship Orientation.

ONE-DAY WORKSHOP

The program opens with a lively, information-packed, one day workshop. During this workshop, participants not only hear all about how they can improve their skills, but they also take part in a number of insightful exercises where those skills can be practised and employed. The workshop sets participants up for their progress through the three month Program in the best possible way.

Each Participant receives a detailed 160-page manual which contains all of the knowledge required to take Relationship Orientation skills to Industry Standards and beyond. This information-rich manual serves as the major resource during passage through the program.

WEEKLY CONTACT

Contact is maintained between ChiLab educators and participants on a weekly basis. This contact consists of various reminders about particular sections of the course, assignments to be completed using the Online Learning Centre, and full ongoing support.

ONLINE LEARNING

During the three month period, there are a number of mandatory online learning modules assignments for participants to complete. Each of these modules is specifically designed to take knowledge of a particular Relationship Orientation skill to a new level, or to provide assessment data which is used in the compilation of overall results.

ASSESSMENTS

The various assessment made during the contact period build to provide a complete profile of each applicant. In addition to the online assignments, these assessments include self-assessment, as well as peer and management assessment.

CERTIFICATION

At the end of the program, each participant has the opportunity to take a Final Assessment with the goal of achieving certification. While this assessment, based on Industry Standards, is the main tool used in determining whether the applicant has achieved certification level, all of the work completed through the program plays a role in the participant's final status.

Those who have clearly achieved Industry Standards are awarded the Global Institute of Logistics Relationship Orientation Certificate.

There is an opportunity for those who fail to achieve Industry Standards on the first occasion to be given another opportunity. Any areas where these applicants have problems are clearly identified by the detailed records kept in the Certificate Program database. ChiLab tutors are available to assist in participants' further efforts in these weaker areas before an opportunity to re-sit the Final Assessment is offered.
