"If you keep on doing what you are doing, you will keep on getting what you are getting"

-anonymousMODULE ONE.jpg

This module is the primary building block of the Skills for Life program.  In it participants are exposed to a range of knowledge of how the brain and mind work, before being shown an ingenious, proven technique for changing habits for the better.

Obviously, to obtain better outcomes in life, it is necessary to change the pattern of behavior which is resulting in less-than-perfect outcomes.  While the principle of change is promoted in almost all personal development books and courses, virtually no one explains exactly how to bring about that change.

In this module the mechanism for change is clearly outlined.

TOPICS include:

  • How the Brain works
  • Brain and Mind
  • Left Mind/Right Mind
  • In Your Right MindBrain Mind Habit_side brain.jpg
  • Genetics and Habit
  • Conscious and Subconscious Mind
  • The "Voice in your Head"
  • Reprogramming the Subconscious to change Habits
  • Visualization and Imagination
  • Affirmations
  • The ChiLab Method

 OBJECTIVES:

On completion of this module, participants are expected to:

  • Have a more complete understanding of the scope of the Brain and the Mind
  • Know the different abilities related to Left and Right "Mind".
  • Understand the concept of "In Your Right Mind" - being more creative and handling all situations in a "smart" way
  • Understand the importance of Visualization
  • Know how powerful the Subconscious Mind is and how it drives all habits
  • Understand how to successfully reprogram the Subconscious Mind to learn new skills and develop new working habits.
  • Know how to practice The ChiLab Method for reprogramming the Subconscious.
