“Creativity, it has been said, consists largely of re-arranging what we know in order to find out what we do not know.”
- George KellerMODULE TWO.jpg

This module is designed to address what is seen as arguably the biggest problem currently facing the work force – the lack of innovative thinking which, judging from the constant articles and reports in the media, is especially obvious in the Asian workplace.

For far too many people the words "creative" and "innovative" immediately bring to mind people who paint great art, develop magnificent archicture or other "big picture" items.  Yet everyone requires creativity many times each day to respond properly to all of the challenges of life. This involves "thinking smart" and using a series of mental techniques which need to become habits so the best possible outcomes can be achieved on a regular basis.

With an initial focus on understanding the mechanism of creativity, together with the fact that it is a tool available to all, this module develops into an entertaining and insightful journey through the various ways to enhance this vital skill.

Meaningful illustrations from real life and case studies from business ensure participants can quickly grasp the key elements and put them into practice immediately.

TOPICS include:Creativity and Innovation.JPG

  • The difference between Logical and Lateral Thinking

  • The concept of "What if?"

  • Have developed an extensive range of analytical skills
  • Understand the vital role curiosity plays in the creative process
  • Fully understand, and know how to practice, the three-step creativity process
  • Know the importance of being in a state of "flow" to achieve best results
