“Win/Win is an attitude, not an outcome”
-Dan Boyd MODULE FIVE.jpg

Conflict is a part of life.  Two or more people will often disagree on any number of matters.  Some of these will be important, some not so important.  It is true that, on some occasions, conflict cannot be resolved, but it can still be managed.  At other times a successful resolution is possible.

The same applies to negotiation: in some instances a solution suitable to all parties can be found, while at times all parties have to leave the table without any deal being struck.

Techniques for handling conflict and negotiating successfully are vital Life Skills. This module outlines a range of proven approaches which lead to optimal outcomes.  For many participants, this is the most important module in the Life Skills program.

 TOPICS include:

  • The need for a planConflict.JPG
  • Tactical and Emotional Responce
  • De-escalating Conflict
  • Understanding the Needs of all parties
  • The Key to a Solution
  • Reciprocity
  • Creative Negotiation
  • Relationships and Rapport
  • Finding Win/Win

OBJECTIVES:

On completion of this module, participants are expected to:

  • Have developed an extensive range of conflict resolution techniques
  • Understand the keys to successful negotiation in all areas of life – personal and business.
